Lexie Green is a songwriter from Cambridgeshire UK.
A relatively latecomer to music, she penned her first song
'Bored Housewife' at the tender age of 34 and strummed a
guitar for the first time 2 months later.
Fast forward a handful of years Lexie now has an ever growing catalogue of
original songs, many of which have grabbed International songwriting
placements, has publishing interest, an album on the verge of being
released and another album currently being recorded.
Through all of this she still finds time to get out of the studio to perform live.
"Wow Lexie, you have a great voice! I know I will be hearing more about you in the future."
Jack Douglas - legendary producer (John Lennon, The Who, Miles Davis, Aerosmith,
Alice Cooper, Super Tramp, George Harrison...)
"Lexie has a great rapport with her crowd and does a great job of getting them moving down the front.
Her voice at times has tinges of Tanya Donnelly in her prime and the band do a great job of backing it
up. A great way to warm up for the main act and I expect Lexie to become a bit of a hero on the blues circuit."
(Supporting Bex Marshall. Review by Craig Brindley, Art & Soul Magazine, Issue 34 March 2010)
"Impressively, Lexie bought her first guitar in 2007 and in less than three years has managed to
pack in more than most musicians could hope for in a decade. Pure delight!"
(Randall Rootz Festival 2009)

About "The Like"
Produced by Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, Robbie Williams) with additional production by Thomas Brenneck and Homer Steinweiss (of The Dap Kings), and Alex Greenwald (Phantom Planet), Release Me crackles and pops with girlgroup sass. Tracks like He’s Not A Boy – released as the first single on 31st May - and Don't Make a Sound somehow find the place where the edge of the Animals and the heartbreak of the Shangri-Las meet and are infused with an edgy, clear-eyed romanticism that are irresistible.
Fresh off their US tour with the Arctic Monkeys catch them at this very special intimate show!
